Safety Tools

Every safety feature in the app, what it does, and where to find it.

Block

Where: any profile → ⋮ menu → Block.
Effect: they can't see your profile, can't message you, can't show up in your match deck. Bidirectional and instant. Existing conversations stay visible to you but hidden to them. Reversible — Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked users.

Report

Where: any profile, chat, message, or quiz → ⋮ menu → Report.
Effect: sends the content + context to moderation. Triaged within 24 hours; serious reports within 4 hours. You're notified of the outcome (action taken, dismissed, or "we couldn't determine").

Reports are anonymous to the reported user — they never see who reported them.

Hide online status

Where: Settings → Privacy & Safety → Show online status.
Effect: other users see "Offline" regardless of whether you're actively in the app. You still see their status.

Public-profile toggle

Where: Settings → Privacy & Safety → Public profile.
Effect: when off, only people who match with you can see your profile via username search. Your match deck appearances are unaffected.

Notification controls

Where: Settings → Notifications.
Effect: per-category toggles for matches, messages, battle invites, friend requests, daily challenges, streak-at-risk alerts. Granular — turn off what you don't want without losing the rest.

Photo controls

Where: Profile → tap any photo → ⋮.
Effect: remove a photo, reorder photos, set the primary photo. Removed photos are deleted from our servers within 30 days (backups need that long to fully purge).

Data export

Where: Settings → Export my data.
Effect: downloads a JSON file with everything we hold about you across 18 tables. Limited to 3 exports / day to prevent abuse.

Account deletion

Where: Settings → Delete account.
Effect: permanent cascade across 30+ tables. Sessions invalidated, push tokens removed, Stripe customer unlinked. The deletion is irreversible; sign back up later and you start fresh.
